DATA PROCESSING
A Data Processing Agreement for commercial accounts.
Summary
Commercial Atlas accounts (for example, operators and training organizations) may need a Data Processing Agreement with us under data-protection law. This page explains how to get one and what it covers.
Do you need a DPA?
A DPA applies when Atlas processes personal data (for example, pilot names and logbook entries) on behalf of your organization under your instructions. If your organization is the controller of that data and data-protection law applies to you, you can request a DPA from us.
What our DPA covers
- The categories of personal data Atlas processes for your account.
- Purpose limitation: your data is processed only to provide Atlas to your organization.
- Security measures and where data is stored.
- Sub-processor disclosure and notice of changes.
- Your audit and deletion rights, and how we support them.
- Breach notification commitments.
How to request
Email support@atlasfly.io from your commercial account address with your organization name and jurisdiction. We will send the current DPA for review and countersignature. There is no charge for a DPA.
Until the DPA is signed
The privacy page and terms of service describe how Atlas handles data for every account. A signed DPA adds the processor-specific commitments listed above; it does not reduce any protection described elsewhere.
